TV Advertisements
In 2004 and 2005 ARPHS ran a television advertising campaign on TVNZ. The aim of the television commercial was to increase the awareness of the role of a Health Protection Officer and to encourage the recruitment of more Maori into the profession.
The commercial was designed to appeal to senior school science students, young tertiary science students and others considering a career in the health protection sphere. It was played in conjunction with The Inspectors television series in which ARPHS staff were featured in a number of episodes.
