‘Look Good Kai’, is a six week incentive programme which supports secondary schools to initiate healthier menu choices for students. The programme aims to promote the sale of healthier food options (e.g. sandwiches, rolls, yoghurt, and fruit) by rewarding students purchasing the healthier food options.
The healthiest foods are labelled with Look Good Kai stickers, which the students collect on an incentive card. Students simply collect stickers on a loyalty card, which label the healthier food options in the canteen. Once the students have eight stickers they complete the incentive card and go in the draw to win prizes. These are drawn at the end of the six week incentive programme.
Look Good Kai engenders school spirit by encouraging students to purchase healthier foods from the school canteen, and participate in the interschool competition.
