As part of the licensing procedure, our service carries out health and safety assessments for Early Childhood Education Centres. This is to assess compliance with legislative requirements. These include health and safety standards required by sections 45 and 46 of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, on behalf of the Ministry of Education. This assessment is delegated by the Ministry of Health to Public Health Units.
