Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) aims to reduce the burden of nutrition related disease in the Auckland region, through its work within Workplaces, Refugee Health, and in Early Childhood Education Settings.

These programmes build community capacity, promoting environments which foster healthy eating and enable individuals to make informed, healthy choices.

Key messages:

  • Eat a variety of colours.
  • Reduce fat, sugar and salt.
  • Drink water, drink fewer sugary drinks.
  • Be active for at least 30mins a day.
