The Ministry of Health's role is to improve, promote and protect the health of New Zealanders. The Ministry is the government’s primary agent in New Zealand’s health and disability system, and has overall responsibility for the management and development of that system.
Healthline is a free 24-hour telephone health information service for all New Zealand families (0800 611 116). The service is staffed by registered nurses who will assess your health needs, and give information and advice to help you decide on the best level of care.

Immunisation Advisory Centre
The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) is a nationwide organisation based at the School of Population Health at The University of Auckland. IMAC's aim is to provide New Zealanders with a local source of independent, factual information including benefits and risks regarding immunisation, and vaccine-preventable disease.

Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) - www.adhb.govt.nz
ADHB is responsible for ensuring the provision of health and disability services to people within the Auckland geographical area. ADHB has the largest budget of any DHB in the country and is fourth largest based on population size.

WDHB serves the largest DHB population in the country; more than 525,000 people in Waitakere, North Shore and Rodney.
Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) - www.cmdhb.org.nz
CMDHB is responsible for the funding of health and disability services and for the provision of hospital and related services for the people of Manukau, Franklin and Papakura.
